SKILLS DAY! Rain date!

A la carte skills day!  We want you to have an opportunity to build on the skills that you want to learn!  Absolutely everyone who is riding on the trails can benefit from certified mountain bike coaching.  We will help you get comfortable and confident on your bike so you can see your riding improve!

Level 1 Fundamentals:  You will work through the five fundamentals with your certified mountain bike instructor.  This will set the foundation for the rest of your mountain bike journey.  You do not need to have taken Fundamentals with Muddy Pedals, any certified mountain bike instructor is acceptable in order to move on to Level 2 Clinics. 

Level 2 Log Overs:  In order to take this clinic, you need to have completed a Level 1 Fundamentals with any certified mountain bike instructor.  In this clinic, we will work on front wheel lift, rear wheel lift, and address the many tools that can be used in order to get over those logs!

Level 2 Roll Downs & Drops: In order to take this clinic, you need to have completed a Level 1 Fundamentals with any certified mountain bike instructor.  In this clinic, we will distinguish the difference between a roll down & drop, how you determine whether you can roll or deep to drop and the tefchniques for each.

Level 2 Intro to Jumps:  In order to take this clinic,  you need to have completed a Level 1 Fundamentals with any certified mountain bike instructor. In this clinic, we will work on the progressions of purposely not getting air and purposely getting air. And how to achieve both successfully and in a controlled and consistent manner.

If you have taken many clinics and feel that this day is not for you, there are still options!  Friends of Patapsco Valley State Park will have a trail work day in this area that morning starting at 10:00.  Once registration has opened for that, you can register HERE.
